I’ve stayed at other places in Dalat before, but Moc Thach is my new favorite and I’ll recommend it to all my friends who visit! The rooms are so clean, nicely styled, and comfortable. I think the pillows were really good for my bad back and will have to ask next time where they got them lol. There are TWO hot water faucets in the shower so you are guaranteed hot water no matter the weather in chilly Dalat. Great value for the cost! EXCELLENT location, between all the tourist attractions and so close to the main strip in town I walked all the time. Most of all, the host and wife and their adorable baby are super adorable and kind. It really changes the atmosphere of your entire trip when you have such nice good people for hosts! I hurt my hand and they went out of their way to help, even insisting for me to me to use their baby’s fancy baby wash! I just love them. Happy to write this...
Read moreI couldn't recommend this place enough. So far it is the best accommodation we have stayed in Vietnam due to the friendly service and how clean the place is. Such great value for the price.
All the reviews about the owner are so accurate. He is so helpful, accommodating and just so friendly. As soon as you walk in he is all smiles.
The room is clean! And I can't emphasize that enough. It's such a welcome to a place when you can trust it has been cleaned properly!
The room itself is spacious, smells nice and we have good views and it is quiet.
Location is spot on, right by the water walk. Walkable to good cafes and restaurants.
Can do laundry for such good value.I even managed to swap my book for another on the shelf!
I wish all our accommodations...

The host is super friendly and will recommend a lot of nice local places to eat. Although English isn’t his stronger suit, but he never fails to ask how was our day and we ended up communicating in mandarin since he was more comfortable speaking it 😂. He even helped to arrange a private driver for us and even the taxi to the airport. The best part is that it’s very clean, and cosy to stay.
As it is not in the centre of town (5-10 mins with grab bike to town centre) it’s very quiet and just feel more authentic as you are staying in a local neighbourhood. Even the food surrounding the area feels localised and cheap. Will definitely return to this hostel when I visit Dalat again some time in...
