I booked a dormitory bed. Check on at 14:00 but John allowed me to keep my bags in front of the reception. The location is ok, there is laundry on the right side of the hostel around 200m. They provide hairdryer and clean towel. The bathroom is clean, they also provide shower gel with shampoo. They also have common space at the first floor.Negative: the dormitory is not a room, the is no door. So anyone can come and go.. the is no personal locker. The overall hostel conditions is not ātidyā as they having renovations on going. I didnāt get any sleep because the other guests are coming in and out, walking, talking on the phone, there is also weird āslappingā sound at 5am for 10-15 minutes (i have no idea what that was) all this noisy are at 2-5 in the morning. The person staying next to my bed came back at 3am.. they absolutely donāt know how to do things quietly. Maybe the owner should remind the guests during checkin. Given the price, its still ok. So, if you want a good sleep, book the private...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat an absolutely lovely hostel. The host works so very hard to accomodate his guests and I really appreciated him letting me check in early when my bus arrived at the ungodly hour of 3:30am from HCMC. The host, John, holds an English Club on Wednesdays and Saturdays that he welcomed me to attend where travellers and vietnamese people converse in english. What a great way to learn about locals than over a tea or beer. I was able to borrow bowls and a knife for my fruit salad each morning and there is a water refill station. Not a negative for the hostel, but to travellers, please do not flush toilet paper as blocked toilets first thing in the morning is gross and not something the hostel staff need to be cleaning up. Use the bin, get used to it yeah!! But, no negative for this hostel which even has a relaxing park across the street. Loved...
Ā Ā Ā Read more10/10 hostel in Da Lat! Very comfortable dorm beds in little cubicle, and the beds dont creak when moving. There are also mosquito nets provided, which you can take if needed. Fresh towels are available daily. It gets pretty cold in certain seasons at night, but you can always ask for another blanket. Cute cafe on the ground floor too. Good location, only a scenic 15-minute walk along the river to the night market. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The hostel, especially the top floor, looks like a hut in the best way, nice interior using lots of wood. There are also lots of little nooks and rooms for travelers to relax in. Nice bathrooms, too, warm shower! 10/10 because of all of this and the price!! Only 3 USD per night for...
