Ok so this place doesn’t reaaaally look like a restaurant, but I promise you the food is so good and so worth it!
We went tonight and met a father and son who presumably run the hostel. The son speaks English and was very chatty and kind, but the father doesn’t speak English. I have to assume Mr. Happy was modelled off of him, literally the nicest person we’ve met in Vietnam. He helped us with our dishes when we had no idea what we were doing- literally took a hands on approach but we didn’t mind. He was watching us waiting to see our reactions to the food- SO CUTE. I can’t even.
The food was actually fantastic- couldn’t fault it. Really affordable price wise and so WORTH it.
We had: Vietnamese pizza- very light and crispy Vegetarian springs rolls- lots of delicious tofu and the pastry is crispy but light and soft Chicken noodle soup- very flavourful and tasty Vietnamese pancake with shrimp and pork- delicious and crispy served with rice paper and veggies
And a couple of bottles of water it cost us like $15 AUD which is insane value.
I hope they get more business! They deserve it.
