Mr.happy's Kitchen — Restaurant in Da Lat City

Ok so this place doesn’t reaaaally look like a restaurant, but I promise you the food is so good and so worth it!

We went tonight and met a father and son who presumably run the hostel. The son speaks English and was very chatty and kind, but the father doesn’t speak English. I have to assume Mr. Happy was modelled off of him, literally the nicest person we’ve met in Vietnam. He helped us with our dishes when we had no idea what we were doing- literally took a hands on approach but we didn’t mind. He was watching us waiting to see our reactions to the food- SO CUTE. I can’t even.

The food was actually fantastic- couldn’t fault it. Really affordable price wise and so WORTH it.

We had: Vietnamese pizza- very light and crispy Vegetarian springs rolls- lots of delicious tofu and the pastry is crispy but light and soft Chicken noodle soup- very flavourful and tasty Vietnamese pancake with shrimp and pork- delicious and crispy served with rice paper and veggies

And a couple of bottles of water it cost us like $15 AUD which is insane value.

I hope they get more business! They deserve it.

A Wonderful Return to This Đà Lạt Gem! This was my second time staying and dining here, and it was just as fantastic as the first! The staff are incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, especially Mr. Happy, who went above and beyond to allow us to check in as early as possible. The food is absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. I would like to give more starts or at least some plus! Amazing place for any meal during the day. We were there for dinner and the food is tasty and fresh. It was a pity that we were gonna be only 1 night, if not we will go everyday for sure.
