2cream - Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Do you love ice-cream? How about non-dairy or “vegan icream” ? It’s really the one that everyone can enjoy. I believe it’s much healthier for us when the sweet is made from natural sugars from real fruit and alternative milk.

At 2cream, they use almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk and high-quality fruit (local and imported fruit) to make the best ice-cream.

At 2cream, everything is homemade from the ice-cream to the cone. Ice-cream is made every week and you don’t have to worry about the quality. New flavours are also added every month with available seasonal fruit.

The price is very reasonable too, just a little different between milk and fruit ice-cream : One scoop costs only 25 -30.000 vnd. For 90gr - 150gr - 400gr boxes, 34k/38k vnd - 50k/55k vnf- 145k/155k vnd.

If the location is a bit far for you to come, reach them on their FB (free delivery with the bill from 200k vnd if your location is under 3km). You camera also use or online delivery apps like Grabfood, Nows, Vietnammm. Happy Thursday (20% OFF) is applied every week for both take-away and delivery.

I have been trying to acclimatise to the temperature in Southeast asia, but sometimes I need a delicious ice cream to help me cool off. I can't resist. However, finding a place that has vegan ice cream can be quite challenging. Thankfully, I saw 2cream. Typically, when places offer vegan ice cream it is always mango sorbet which I very much enjoy, but always endeavour to try something new. 2cream at the time were offering 4 vegan flavours, mango sorbet, almond chocolate, cookies and creme, and slated caramel. The server was kind enough to let me try all the flavours first. There mango sorbet was actually really tasty, but I was on the hunt to try something new. I went with the salted caramel. This flavour was offered a subtle toffee flavour with a sufficient but not overpowering taste of salt. The cherry on the top was that one scoop was only 35K, which is much cheaper than other ice cream shops dotted around Hoan Kiem lake. 2Cream serves delicious ice cream and sorbet. Their menu clearly labels vegan options. It uses Vietnamese and English, and the manager is able to speak English fluently. Not all flavors were available during my visit, but several vegan ice creams and sorbets were on hand. The cones aren’t vegan, and the manger raised this proactively and served my two scoops in a cup.

I thoroughly enjoyed the texture and rich flavor of the mango sorbet. The vanilla Oreo had crumbs rather than chunks of Oreo and worked well with the subtly sweet vanilla. Temperature was great with the ice cream and the shop itself. 2Cream is on a busy but not overwhelming street, and the shop’s ambiance made it a pleasure to sit down for a sweet treat. 2Cream is also planning to set up for pint sales and delivery in 2024.
