This hidden gem may not have an extensive menu, but what it lacks in options, it more than makes up for in quality and charm.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and greeted with genuine smiles from the welcoming owners. Despite the limited selection, each cup we tried was a masterpiece of flavor and attention to detail. However, it was their signature yogurt coffee that stole our hearts with its creamy texture and delightful taste – a true must-try!

What truly made our experience unforgettable was the warm hospitality of the owners. Not only did they patiently guide us through their offerings, but they also took the time to share their passion for coffee, introducing us to different types of beans and even treating us to a complimentary tasting of their special Culin beans black coffee. Their genuine enthusiasm and generosity left a lasting impression on us.

Inspired by our visit, we couldn't resist bringing some Culin beans back to Hong Kong, eager to savor the memories of our time in Hanoi. And you can bet that when we return to this vibrant city, this coffee shop will be at the top of our list. A beautiful cafe run by a beautiful soul. One of the great joys about staying in the Ba Dinh area of Hanoi was being within a few minutes walk of Kuu Coffee. This place became my regular for the 8 days I was staying in Hanoi recently. In addition to delicious coffee sourced from the owners own garden, Kuu Coffee offers delicious home cooked dishes as well as another crowd favourite, wine! The language barrier that existed between us (us being myself and my two Kiwi comrades) did not stop the lovely owner from sharing her process and enthusiasm for all things coffee and wine. She was quick to provide a physical demonstration of the phin filter method of Vietnamese coffee when she realised I was trying to explain the process to my friends and the connection grew from there. Google Translate became a valuable tool as it really helped us to discover her passion and knowledge. I am going back to this part of Hanoi just so I can visit Kuu...

The best place in all Hanoi! We were very lucky to find this amazing cafe 😍We came every single day for 2 weeks straight because this is the place we felt like home. First of all the owner is just a sweet human that does her work with love and kindness. Nga took such a good care of us 🩵All the food and drinks there are delicious and very affordable. For coffee people this is the place to go for. They grow their own coffee and they really care about the quality and taste of all their ingredients. 🤗 When we think of Hanoi, the moments spent in Kuu Coffee are the first thing that comes to our minds.
