Came to the Loving Hut after a heavy work out and was thinking about getting some fried food (don't expect any logic, don't ask), but either way, came across this restaurant and thought veggies wouldn't be such a bad idea. No regrets. Came in, there's seating options on different floors as well, and get handed the menu. There's a variety of options, I just went for the Mien Tron as a single meal for 50K and wow, that could easily have been my entire food intake of the day, portions are HUGE. Below all the veggies you'll find the vegan pork pate, noodles and tofu too. It's also delicious, let's not forget. So I actually gobbled the entire thing up, it was served on a platter with spoon and chopsticks, and at the end of the meal I simply paid the owner, I guess, an elder lady sitting at the table right behind me. She didn't speak much english, but the menu is translated, albeit with some... malfunctions, but it's more than enough for anyone to get around. Either way, if you're lookign for vegan or vegetarian food at a more than decent price, this is definitely one of the options you shouldn't overlook. They also deliver (vietnammm is your friend), and they also sell a bunch of other stuff such as plant based...

Almost everything I've ever had here is just amazing, and I've repeatedly been blown away by the fact that it's all plant-based.
I highly recommend the sweet and sour pork, the Chinese duck, the roast chicken, the Vietnamese sausage, the spring rolls, and the beef pho. I would recommend almost every item on the menu here.
The atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant is simple, but it's not the décor that you visit Loving Hut for - it's their incredible food. That is not to say that the restaurant looks bad. However, you will be too focused on enjoying the food on your plate to care about anything else. It's a comfortable and peaceful enough environment that you just appreciate what you came there for - tasty, nourishing, and environmentally-conscious cooking.
Loving Hut is without a doubt one of my top three restaurants in Hanoi - maybe even in the world! Build more...
Read moreI can't say it was a good experience, they're open until 22.00, I arrive at 21.30, but they only had one dish left...fine for me! I was happy to still get something vegan around this time...until I got it...it smelled off! It looked like some leftovers☹...the price was pretty high too for what I got...I can imagine you're not able to cook a complicated dish around that time, but a simple "no we're closed" was better. The owner saw my disappointment, and gave me a banana🤯...I payed 40k👎which when I came home...nauseous, immediately threw up🤮...summary: no go! I can imagine they have nice dishes too, by day, but if you only serve one, and that one makes you throw up? Just don't serve!!...
