Update this review after being there more than 15 times already. I've tried several selected dishes and got to know the restaurant well.
The main reason if my back-and-forth visits as it's near my home and the food is fine. Not to mention, there are no nearby restaurants with Japanese rice dishes at that affordable price.
Well, there are many rice dishes as expected from a 飯屋. There is only one floor but arranged tables as much as possible. They've just remade their menu so there are a few finger foods now like takoyaki, gyoza and Japanese fried pancaked. Since then, I noticed the customers come more at dinner time.
Regarding to the food quality, there are times the curry not so hot or just kinda somewhat lukewarm or medium hot. Also, the taste is quite light, not like the curry I ate at other Japanese curry restaurant. The rice with fried chicken in sour-and-spicy sauce is good. The fried pork sometimes are too tough for me to chew. I like the spicy fried chicken - it’s not so spicy so dont worry.

You can definitely feel the cheap ingredients being use here, cheap beef, cheap miso, cheap saba, etc. But I can't really complain that much due to the price. The cook change so the dishes may not be consistently. I'd like to have more options as an side dish like chicken teriyaki as a side dish.
