Extremely disappointed in my experience with this venue. Upon entry, my partner and I received absolutely no acknowledgement whatsoever, no directions or greetings at all. I waited around 5 minutes at the counter until I was served, a staff member even came up to the counter to do something, and didn't acknowledge me or prompt another member to serve me. When I eventually was served, the staff was rude and disinterested, and was annoyed that I didn't have smaller change - my order came to around 120 000vnd and I handed him a 200 000 note, it really was not a big deal. The staff handed our drinks over and while they tasted fine, we also received no pleasantries or acknowledgement from staff when they served us . As well as this, there are no clearly visible visual or verbal guidelines on the treatment of the cats - a child of a staff member (or friend of a staff member child) was running around the cafe harassing and mistreating the cats. The staff did little to nothing to address this - my partner had to instruct the child on how to handle the cats and tell him to leave them alone upon seeing how he was treating them. The staff did not care. The bathroom was also absolutely disgusting, one of the worst I've seen on my travels; the floor was sopping wet and absolutely filthy. While the drinks were ok and the location itself is nice, I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially seeing that the staff do not seem to care for the welfare...
Read moreI appreciate the concept and vision behind the cat cafe; it’s a wonderful idea for cat lovers. However, I believe there are several areas that could benefit from improvement. First and foremost, a thorough cleaning of the space—from the entrance to the kitchen—would greatly enhance the overall experience. I hesitated to order food or drinks due to the cleanliness.
Additionally, while the staff is enthusiastic, they appear to be quite young and may not be fully attentive to the needs of the cats and visitors. It’s important to establish and enforce some guidelines for handling the cats to ensure their well-being. For instance, I witnessed a child yelling in the cafe, and a staff member holding a hairless cat in a way that seemed uncomfortable for the animal, who was clearly distressed.
I get the feeling that the focus is more on creating an Instagrammable environment rather than prioritizing the cats' needs. Some of the cats could really use extra grooming and care.
I have experienced various cat cafes around the world, and I feel that with a bit more attention to cleanliness, proper rules, and a more mature, mindful staff, this cafe could truly excel. If the goal is to create an enjoyable experience for both the cats and visitors, I hope these suggestions will be taken into...
Read moreVisited Oleoleo on a cold rainy afternoon. There are two floors, cats stay on the first floor. The cats are very adorable and healthy. Especially Doris, a cute yellow cat spending the whole afternoon with me. The staff was really nice and good at maintaining the cafe clean. Coconut coffee was fine. Nice location!
The overall experience was wonderful and I just have some feedback. I hope you will keep maintaining the good service and improve these points for better operation and reviews of the cafe: Because there are so many cats, they can easily have fleas/fungi. This is inevitable, however, please use some treatment (fleas drop) monthly (6-12 months) to maintain hygiene and the kitty’s good health. It’s not easy to find a cat cafe with healthy cats and I really appreciate your efforts. I do think taking good care of the cats will help the cafe grow sustainably and influence on others. It’s nice that the staff can have fun/feel comfortable during their shifts, I would just hope there would be less noise/lower tone when they are discussing. This might be affecting guests coming to read books/having small talks with friends. I hope that you will take my feedback. I will return and recommend to my friends. Thank...
