ZAO - Vietnamese Rooted Eatery — Restaurant in Hà Nội

I've eaten at a number of fine dining restaurants and I would honestly say ZAO is able to compete with them. Appetizer came? alright serve me the next one. It was so delicious we downed it all in a matter of seconds... Perhaps this is ignorant to be saying as a foreigner, but the prices here are so cheap in comparison to the quality of the food, they might as well solve world hunger. If you come to Hanoi, and want a wonderful dining experience, by all means try your luck at ZAO, the service staff were so attentive that I felt like a toddler all over again. Brought my elderly aunt here and they were so hospitable towards her. Fruit Tea, "Would you like it less cold?". Steak, "Do you need it cooked more?". Wonderful...

Probably one of the most promising chef of his generation, a future great name of Vietnamese gastronomy. I have been really amazed by the quality and the creativity of the dishes. The smart way to use local ingredients, each dish is perfectly balanced, full of surprises and emotions, the razor clam pâté is crazy, the squid noodles come with an amazing sauce, it’s been a long time since I haven’t been so high on emotion with gastronomy.
