This was the worst spa experience we have ever had.
Looking at the most recent reviews, one might think that family and friends are leaving five-star ratings just to drown out all the negative experiences. And honestly, that’s the only explanation that makes sense.
From the facilities to the staff, I cannot understand how the owner allows such a disgraceful state of affairs. My partner and I were led into the room after a short wait, and the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had made a mistake. The air was stale, the atmosphere was cold and run-down, and relaxation was out of the question. The towel I was supposed to lie on smelled musty and unclean—disgusting.
I had an injured arm and repeatedly made it clear that it must not be touched under any circumstances. While this was initially respected, by the end, my request was completely ignored. When I reminded the masseuse, she just exchanged a laugh with her colleague!
There was no calming music, no attempt to create a relaxing environment. Instead, the two young women chatted and laughed loudly throughout the entire session, completely oblivious to the fact that we were paying customers expecting a professional experience. If that wasn’t bad enough, they were constantly scrolling and typing on their phones, massaging carelessly with one hand. When I looked up in disbelief, they couldn’t have cared less.
The massage technique was appalling—like someone had grabbed a random person off the street and asked them to give it a try. And for the price they charge? A complete scam. At one point, while my back was being massaged, the masseuse placed her phone next to my head, and I had to listen to it vibrating every few minutes. Absolutely infuriating.
Then, after not even 50 minutes, they simply walked out and told us to get dressed. When I asked why our 60-minute massage had ended early, I was coldly informed that the time for changing clothes was included. Excuse me?!
This was not just a bad experience—it was a total horror show. Stay far, far away from this place. And to the owner: Take a hard look at who you hire and how you run your business, because right now,...
Read moreI wasn't aware of the fact the a "massage" can be performed with one hand while having the mobile phone in the other hand and type messages. Did you know that it is even possible to put the phone on the customer during the massage? No? Neither was I. Oh yes, the massage... I would not call it a massage, it was more "rubbing oil as fast as you can into the skin until it is dry". It was really a race. Feet, knee, shinbone, feet, knee, shinbone, a the soles, feet, knee.... 10 minutes over, next leg.
To be honest, that was the worst "massage" in my whole life. And the fact that the women who performed it was constantly using her cellphone during (!!!) the massage was an enormous lack of respect to the customer.
Oh, did I mention the big flowerpot filled with water where I needed to put my feet in at the beginning? That in fact was the fun part. Yes, it was fresh water. Still it was...
Read moreWent for a 90-minute foot massage.. most of it was repeatedly rubbing my ankles and shins without much attention. The masseuse was on her phone half of the time (I could feel it vibrating on the cushion next to my feet) and didn’t use enough oil, so they ended up just rubbing my legs dry, which was painful and ended up leaving marks and bruising on my legs. Ironically, the head/neck massage at the end was really good, but it’s a shame, as that wasn’t what I wanted. Definitely a ouldn’t recommend this place, as I’ve since seen in the reviews that this kind of experience is...
