Very INCONSIDERATE and UNPROFESSIONAL hotel.
On Tuesday September 3rd, I called the front desk and requested to extend until Friday the 6th. I made sure to repeat the request twice so that there would be no misunderstanding.
My wife just completed surgery nearby and I specifically looked for a comfortable hotel where she could relax and recover for a few days before we left the city.
On Thursday the 5th, they called our room and we were told that we had to leave. They made a mistake and overbooked and they wanted us to move to a different hotel.
I asked if there was any way to stay as repacking and moving all of our luggage was not easy to do while my wife was out of commission.
Not only that but we were also in the midst of going through her post surgery medical care which takes over an hour to complete so we were forced to rush through that process.
For complete transparency, they found us accommodation across the street but it should have never come to this.
I believe that the considerate and professional solution would have been to contact one of the incoming guests and assist them with finding another hotel instead of inconveniencing current guests.
The rest of the staff (reception and housekeeping) were nothing but kind and considerate to us during our stay so this review is not a reflection of their service.

Read moreWe are very happy with this hotel. It's not big but very convenience. We stay in suite rooms, which was 80$US one night. The room was cozy and with all nesesary equipment and furnitures like a 4 or 5 star hotel, what may cost 200$US. They have both internet cable and wifi with high speed. The hotel's location is in main street but very quite at night. Opposit the hotel is a minimart and many restaurants, cafes (do not forget to experience the feeling of sitting on the street side cafe, enjoy local beer and discover Vietnamese daily life throught people passing by). From the hotel, can walk to the Vincom towers(turn left from the hotel, about 500m), it is the biggest shopping and entertainment center in town. |Hotel staff are very friendly and speak good English. We found spotless during our...
Read moreWe’re group of Canadian students stayed in Santa Hotel for a month. We are really impressed. The hotel location is great, just right in the city center but very quite at night. Many small restaurants provide mouth-watering Vietnamese foods nearby. Our rooms are superiors, not very big but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with wide options. Ground floor’s café is ideal place for our group gathering. All hotel staff cared to even small detail to make Guests happy. They‘re very friendly, helpful and speak good English. We study a lot of Vietnamese language and culture from them. Luckily, we have chance joined to very exciting trip to a national park on the hotel’s birthday with other long stay Guests and hotel staff. We would say “Cam on” and strongly recommend Santa Hotel to...
