Dolphin Restaurant — Restaurant in Hải Phòng

2 Chances too many... 1st night: First item came out after about 20 minutes...my spring rolls almost 1 hour later (after asking a few times). 2nd night: After being coaxed back to the establishment for their "Family Vibe" by my girlfriend, we were offered a free beer each - as it says on their sign outside - however my girlfriend was sick and asked if she could have a TEA instead. On the first night, this was possible. This time, we were charged for it on the bill and I asked if we could have it removed as she didn't have any beer. We were told that the deal was no longer available and that we would have to pay for the TEA.

To prove my point, I sat down and asked for her FREE beer which she was entitled to with her meal. Instead of seeing my point, the owner argued with me and eventually told me as long as I sat in his restaurant I could have the free beer. Missing the point entirely, I took my free beer and walked out. He screamed and yelled at me all the way up the street.

All in all, un-professional and both times I felt the service was bad enough that I wouldn't go back.

In general the food prices are okay, but the food itself is pretty bland. It has been hard to find food with FLAVOUR on this Island. Would look forward to eating at a proper Vietnamese food place. Very...

horrible experience, regarding the service, I was ordering and while ordering the waiter was talking on the cell phone, he forgot to bring our drinks, the food was regular, the restaurant was not full and even so it took them forever to bring a pizza, I don't know if the The person who helped me is the owner or he just works there or maybe I just had bad luck, but I would never return, it's my first bad experience in Vietnam and how unfortunate it is here. On the other hand, they charged me an extra charge for using the card, when no other restaurant in the area did it!!...

Doesn't make sense that people flock to the tourist traps, and not a family run place with amazing food and drink at very low prices like here. Hiep, the owner, is a salt of the earth human, and not one person who was eating here at the same time said anything but great things about the food - it was all amazing.
