GOLDEN NUT HOI AN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Hội An

This is one of those rare hole-in-the-wall finds that completely surprises you—in the best way possible. From the moment we walked in, the experience was outstanding. The lady at the front was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. She took the time to walk us through the entire menu, offering thoughtful recommendations while carefully considering our dietary restrictions.

The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful and clearly made with care. We tried the golden nut spring rolls, the red snapper and the clay pot ginger chicken. The spring rolls are the best I’ve had in Vietnam so far and all the dishes were overall outstanding with such bold flavours. The service was quick, attentive, and genuinely warm. To top it all off, she brought us complimentary cream puffs at the end of the meal, which was such a sweet and generous touch.

My partner and I had a meal here due to the great reviews. We experienced a welcoming atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and delicious food. They were extremely helpful with my shellfish allergy and made sure I didn't have any ingredients I wasn't allowed.

Whilst eating we noticed that a cooking class was available. 2 days later we came back and had a 1 on 1 lesson making dishes of our choice with an extremely well trained chef. We ate the dishes straight after cooking then moved on to cooking the next course. He told us of his studying and experience working in 5* kitchens.

All in all, it is an excellent restaurant which offers a personal touch that other places couldn't match.

This restaurant is run by a lovely couple. We went here for dinner while we were staying in palm garden resort. It is a cozy, well kept restaurant and has a wide range of choice of local Vietnamese cuisine. We ordered a seafood main course. They served it with steamed rice. It tasted really good. They speak good English and provided a very good service. They were so nice to give us a complementary dessert (cream buns and fruits). The interiors are very well done by the couple themselves.
