Came across this little gem by accident, lovely quiet space, down a laneway near An Bang beach. Walked past a few times and was intrigued so thought I had to try and glad I did.
A great little escape restaurant away from restaurant strip and tucked away near home stays and gardens.
Very clean, nicely decorated, with lamps and lots of plants, open with a tropical garden atmosphere, calm space, not a lot of seats so makes a change from the big noisy ones near the beach.
f you are looking for a bit of respite from the traffic and hustle, in An Bang, this is the spot to try.
Good to see a smaller menu not trying to cater for everyone, not another Vietnamese with burgers and pizza, just genuine, fresh and local.
They have some nice variations on some of the regular seafood offerings, and a good vegetarian and vegan selection.
Prices are very good, I had pork stuffed squid which came with steamed rice (was tender and delicious) and Bok Choi sautéed with garlic plus a fresh lemon juice and an old school Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk, you don’t see it so much anymore so a bit of a highlight and a very good coffee.
Very nice meal and all for d175k.
Very friendly host/chef with great service and good conversation, made me feel very welcome.
Open breakfast, lunch and dinner, so will head back to try more and get another of those coffees.
I was told they are only new, so wish them success and...
Read moreFound this little hidden gem of a restaurant by chance. Owned by husband and wife team. Very helpful and friendly and superb chef.Excellent menu with lots of local dishes and vegetarian choices. Had a delicious meal and decided to go back again as the food is so tasty, fresh and cooked to order. I asked for a Tofu dish but they had run out so I had an equally delicious smoked aubergine dish. However, the lady owner went out specially and came back with tofu and cooked the dish I had originally asked for ! Above and beyond super customer service. The gin and tonic is good too! They do need to charge more as the prices are so low and the quality is so high. We will definitely come back before we leave Hoi An. Thank...
Read moreIncredible gem, exceeds all expectations! It appears like a modest local family place with a local menu, but each dish is a masterpiece (for a price that, honestly, would deserve to be higher). The service is very kind and we were delighted when their little boy brought our toddler his cars to pay with 😍 We have eaten there three days in a row now, will probably go again tomorrow 😋 The crispy pork, salads and pretty much everything we have tried tastes amazing. We thought that perhaps it's the magic of grandma's recipes, but it turns out that the husband, chef, had worked over a decade in the famous Morning Glory restaurant. Hence, it's the best of Vietnamese cooking in a cute...
