Shore Club, An Bang Beach — Restaurant in Hội An

This is a truly lovely seaside restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and welcoming, with most of the guests being polite, respectful, and international travelers, which adds to the refined vibe.

The staff here are exceptionally friendly and gentle, creating a very pleasant and relaxing dining experience. Even though the restaurant is right by the sea, they’ve thoughtfully added a small swimming pool – a fantastic bonus for families. It’s perfect for keeping children entertained and safe while adults enjoy their meal without worry.

The food is absolutely outstanding – fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared, and presented with great attention to detail. Every dish we tried was delicious and exceeded expectations. The drinks menu is also diverse and well thought out.

The only small improvement I would suggest is with the water pressure in the restrooms, which is quite low. Installing a booster pump would make the water flow stronger and bring the facilities up to the same high standard as the restaurant’s service and food quality, especially given the price range.

We were staying at La Siesta. Was recommended this place as their sister beach club. The ambience was good - nice location, comfy decor - but at 7pm, a very loud group of ?staff sat at a big table and started to sing badly and loudly which wrecked the ambience. The rain came and no one helped us move our food and drinks. Then we sat at a big table and a waiter rudely asked us to not take up so much space (the tables were already set as such, and there was only 2-3 other parties there, all seated).

Had to get up to flag the waiter - once again in a pretty empty beach club.

Food was meh, and for the price you could get much much better.

Also charged a 9% service charge. Which was not noted prior.

Overall, due to the lack of the beautiful Vietnamese hospitality we were getting used to, average food at expensive prices and a surprise service charge which is not a standard here in Vietnam, it turned out to be an uninspiring visit to...

🍽️ And the food? Oh my goodness. Flavor bomb after flavor bomb. Every dish felt like it was made with love, fresh ingredients, and some kind of secret sauce from heaven.

🙌 The staff here are next-level thoughtful. Super kind, attentive without being overbearing—they make you feel like a VIP without the fuss.
