Absolutely awful experience. My steak was great, but the veggies were miniscule - a laughable portion really. The staff screwed up my credit card payment - it took them forever (and three of them) to sort the payment. All the time I stood there wondering what on earth was going on. I was the only person in the restaurant and I told them about the veggies, but nothing was offered. When I left they came running after me and said the payment hadn't gone through, so I had to walk 5 mins back to the restaurant to pay again. When I left I was offered a small bottle of water as compensation. I refused. I come to an bang every year and I love supporting local businesses. I'm also very kind and patient. It had been a while since I treated myself to a good steak dinner—somehow, I always end up choosing the lamb shank! But luckily, there was no lamb on the menu this time to tempt me away.

My friend and I both ordered the 200g tenderloin, which came with coleslaw and a choice of mashed potatoes or fries, along with a selection of sauces. We both went with the peppercorn sauce.

The steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking, and the sides complemented the meal nicely. I was genuinely happy with everything and would say it was great value for the price.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the restaurant itself was tastefully decorated and very clean. I didn’t use the restroom, but based on the overall experience, I’d expect them to be just as well-kept.
