In the very lovely beach of An Bang, we enjoyed an unforgettable vacation in Sao Bien Starfish. The sunny weather, the warm ocean for swimming, the long chairs for resting, fresh drinks and food as fresh seafood, rolls and breads were perfect in this lovely beach restaurant. But the reason for this place became unforgettable for us was the very friendly and intimate host of dear Sam. She was very cheerful, intelligent, caring and sincere, this was the reason of we have been the restaurant for more than once. Before an evening walk in the very beautiful ancient center of Hoi an, we had rest, swim, eat all day long in this lovely restaurant where we felt like being in a family environment. We had a wonderful lunch at this seaside gem! The ocean breeze and beautiful view made the perfect backdrop for a relaxing midday meal. The seafood was incredibly fresh - especially by the lobster! It was perfectly cooked: tender, juicy, and full of natural sweetness. We tried it grilled with garlic butter, and it was hands down one of the best lobsters we’ve ever had. Service was quick and friendly, and the portions were generous. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy great food and take in the coastal atmosphere. Amazing spot ! Favorite bar/restaurant of the beach for us. 1st of all because the team is really nice & kind, not pushy or interested in customer service. Shout out to SAM who was wonderful with us, funny & helpful. She loved sharing local culture informations, genuinely out of kindness. This was our very first stop in Hoi an, 1st taste of Vietnam.
