I feel compelled to review this restaurant due to the very contrary experience we had compared to earlier reviewers. Compared to the many other restaurants we have attended in the past week in Hoi An, this one had very little to be proud of.

We were the only one's in the restaurant (in hindsight, we should have kept walking to another restaurant), yet the service was poor. After the food was delivered to the table, the staff simply forgot us.

The food was not anywhere near the quality (or quantity) of other restaurants. Flavour was certainly not there. The menu prices were also higher than most restaurants, and certainly not justified by this one.

Location was very convenient since it was just a very short walk from Son Boutique Hotel & Spa. I wish the street had more street lights on our way there. Restaurant is a bit secluded but if you like peace and quiet, this place should do.

All our Vietnamese food orders were colorful and presentable, definitely enough to impress a tourist. What I would strongly suggest is more servings. Depending on one's mood, quantity can pass as just right or enough to get filled.

Recently had the pleasure of attending an end-of-year party for our employees at The 1990's restaurant & bar, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for our celebration. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone felt welcomed and well taken care of.
