The experience we had at Sushi Aoyama was splendid. My partner and I booked for an omakase experience for my birthday on the 26th December. The atmosphere was very authentic and it felt as if we were in a sushi restaurant in Japan.

We ordered the Maguro set. The fish was very fresh and some pieces would even melt in your mouth. Everything down to the Yuzu Sorbet for dessert was perfect. We were completely satiated after the omakase.

The sushi chef from Nagoya had over 30 years of experience and was very friendly despite his limited English. The owner is also Japanese and was very accomodating. Once he realised it was my birthday, he generously gifted us 2 Royce Nama chocolate boxes as he felt bad for not preparing any cake.
