Update 2024-03:Upon revisiting Bearloga multiple times following the initial review, I must acknowledge the efforts of Egor Sorokin in reaching out to address any concerns. Each return visit has been met with recognition from the staff, who have proven to be accommodating and attentive. While my personal smoking habits have decreased due to health considerations, I still frequent Bearloga or its affiliated Seven Lounge in D7 on occasions.Notably, Bearloga now accepts various forms of payment beyond cash only, a welcomed improvement, and the overall demeanor of the staff has become notably warmer. Additionally, there have been notable expansions within the establishment, including the introduction of a restaurant called Dark Kitchen affiliated with the Bearloga Shisha Place. Furthermore, plans are underway to open a Middle Eastern restaurant and a bar adjacent to Bearloga, which I eagerly anticipate trying in the future.

Original review 2020:
I used to go out of my way to play — to enjoy Shisha like Dr. Dre — but now the service has gone cray — this review is kind of like a Mayday.
no attempt at social distancing within the place,
the credit card machine doesn’t wanna work say the staff,
you guys can’t accept a bank transfer?
Like seriously?
You are all trippin’
This is completely tone deaf to the whole Covid situation.
Honestly, it’s scary to walk in to that place and settle the bill.
With the proliferation of high-quality Shisha outlets opening up throughout Ho Chi Minh City, I would probably rate a higher likelihood of seeing Tupac smoking here before seeing me back....
Read moreRude owner. Did not really feel welcomed. Atmosphere is typical for a Shisha bar nothing special here. Small tiger beer is 50k.... Bit pricey if you ask me. Can get draft beer for the same price pretty much anywhere. You have to leave the bar if you want to smoke a cigarette. We can argue about the sense in that... Shisha is still tobacco... Had two beers, owner tried to charge me three. After telling here I only had two she immediately dismissed it and said I was wrong and that I had three. This went back and forth until until one in our group noticed she charged him only one beer. Did not even feel the need to apologize for her accusation. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. The owner knows exactly what I'm talking about. Step up your game. Not gonna come back. Not gonna recommend.
Update: If there is a foreigner working at the bar I assume he / she is the owner considering the size of the bar. I doubt you can get a work permit for a foreigner serving drinks at a bar this size. Gonna be hard to justify with immigration you weren't able to find a Vietnamese serving drinks. I do not think there is the need to tell you when I went to your bar. I mean, how many foreigners are currently working at your bar? Either way, thanks for the offer. I...
Read moreIf you’re still reading through google reviews for the best shisha place in HCM, look no further and don’t waste your $$ elsewhere, Visit Bearloga and you won’t be disappointed! It’s in district 2 and it’s worth travelling there.
I personally like that you choose the kind of flavour and strength of shisha (as compared to having a variety or list of choices for the flavours to pick from), the shisha mixologists will do the mix (obviously because they know their stuff!) . The quality and flavour turned out to be really smooth and good.
We came here after dinner so we didn’t really get to try the mains but we had a basket of Garlic parmesan fries and it was heavenly 😝.
Service was exceptional, the staff refilled the charcoals without us asking for it and clears our tissues/plates when we’re done dining quite diligently! They were friendly and professional:)
Overall, the place has a mellow vibe, house music and it’s not too noisy:) I’ll definitely be back again! Thank you for the amazing...
