Badly trained staff. And i’ve seen many same complains which means this place has not been improving as their auto response 🤣 We came at rush hours. I understand but the time between dishes was too long. I noticed the other group who came after got served with a lot of different dishes. No staff border to tell us to wait. Even though our dishes were way simple and should not have cost a lot of their time. Even worse, when all of the customer left, only us stays, all of the staff picked a table to clean instead of caring about us who were still waiting a long time for next dishes. Until our last meal, a female staff stood by, only to wait for us to check bill. This was ridiculous experience for an seemingly high quality restaurant like this one We had an outdoor table but no staff border to show me the way in their maze to the table. They left me like a fool standing there 🤣🤣🤣 The price is high compared to the types of vietnamese foods We can find so many other vietnamese reétaurants with better service and better price Bye bye. Never come back. And you should...

We visited Gánh for lunch and found it to be a quiet, comfortable spot with a nice ambience and fairly efficient service. The space has a contemporary look while still nodding to Vietnamese heritage.
We started with the fresh spring rolls, which were some of the best we've ever had—light, fresh, and full of flavour. A highlight worth coming back for.
Intrigued by their sticky rice balls topped with sweet anchovies and prawns, we gave them a try. While the sticky rice texture was enjoyable, the seafood topping was overly sweet for our taste, which masked the natural seafood flavour we were expecting.
The crab omelette fried rice was fragrant and satisfying, although we felt it could’ve used a hint more wok hei (that signature charred aroma) to really elevate the dish.
Overall, Gánh offers a creative take on traditional Vietnamese flavours with a modern presentation. A solid option for a calm lunch if you’re in the area, with a few...
Read moreBeautiful style building, but steel and stone layout cause noise level to be louder than would otherwise be. Staff can't communicate with foreigners. Staff only gave one menu to one person on table, so other had to wait. Food is nicely presented. They don't serve each person together, so I am still waiting while the other person has already finished their food. Only one beer on menu (tiger). Lots of soft drinks. Wine is poor quality if sold by glass. They're trying to encourage (force?) clients to buy bottle of wine. Have to pay for serviettes. Food is very spicy, but it doesn't say that on the menu, so couldn't eat much even though it looks great. All staff congregated in room away from clients, difficult to get service. Won't...
