From the moment we parked our car to the time we were served our food, El Gaucho Steak House in Ho Chi Minh City exemplified what top-notch service is all about. The attentive staff made sure our experience was seamless and enjoyable right from the start.
El Gaucho offers what might just be the best steak in Southeast Asia. Each bite of their perfectly cooked steak confirmed their reputation. It's not just the quality of the meat that impresses, but also the mastery of their grilling technique, ensuring every steak is succulent and flavorful.
The cleanliness of the restaurant deserves a special mention. It's evident they take great pride in maintaining a pristine dining environment, which enhances the overall experience. Additionally, the menu offers a great selection of food, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a classic rib-eye or something a bit different, El Gaucho has you covered.
The pricing is reasonable considering the quality of food and service provided. They also offer a variety of promotions and offers, making it a great value for such a high-quality dining experience.
One small regret—we didn't leave a tip as we didn't have change on us. Otherwise, it would have been a very generous one to match the excellent service we received. I highly recommend El Gaucho Steak House for anyone looking for an outstanding steak experience in Ho...
Read moreIt’s a new El Gaucho at Xuan Thuy street of Thao Dien, we came here on Friday night which is crowded as usual as El Gaucho. From starter, salad, steak to the desert , everything is perfect and we enjoyed a really great night.
We order smoked salmon as starter, the smoky and slightly salted salmon with a few drops of sour lemon juice and a pinch of chopped onions, the combination is really refreshing and suitable with the wine we order.
The medium rare wagyu tomahawk is at the best state that it is perfectly tender and juicy. We’re really amazed by the steak because we ate same tomahawk at other El Gaucho store but didn’t feel the same way as we felt here. The knife can easily cut through the steak and you could see myoglobin flow out from it. The salted mushroom was also amazing as it’s not over cooked to be dried off but still keep moisture inside mushrooms. We really loved it. Finally we had ice creams and cheesecake which serves as an happy ending to the dinner.
The food quality here was beyond our expectation and the food and beverage here is definitely worthy for the reputation of best steakhouse in Saigon. If you wanna have a satisfied meal with steak, you should come try their new store...
Read moreWe went to celebrate a birthday; the complimentary brownie and caramel vodka were nice, but other than that the whole experience was disappointing.
We’d been to the El Gaucho in Hanoi, and had great experiences there with perfectly cooked steak and flavorful sauces and sides. This location, however, left much to be desired: -We ordered our porterhouse medium rare, and it was most definitely rare: dark red and bleeding at parts. When we asked them to cook it some more, they said it’s better to bring a small charcoal grill to the table and finish cooking it ourselves: effectively saying “you are better at cooking steak than our chefs.” -The second major strike was the wild mushroom sauce; it tasted like generic brown gravy out of a powdered packet, same consistency too.
For the price it was not worth it; we will not...
