Lẩu bò Cô Thảo — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

You gotta try Lẩu Bò Cô Thảo if you're ever in Ho Chi Minh City! I was following my nose down a random street near the Hồ Thị Kỷ flower market, starving after a morning of exploring, and this incredible beefy aroma just stopped me in my tracks. The place itself is pretty casual, with plastic tables and chairs on the sidewalk, but who cares when the food is this good?

I opted for the large bò thập cẩm, which is a kind of all-star beef hotpot. The broth was rich and flavorful, unlike any beef broth I've had before. It wasn't greasy at all, but had this deep, savory taste that had me wanting to sip it straight from the pot. The beef itself was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a good mix of cuts and offal (if you're into that, which I am!). They also have a big selection of add-ons, from vegetables and noodles to extra meat. I recommend the bone marrow - pure decadent heaven!

I will say, a couple of things to keep in mind. The place gets packed, especially at night, so be prepared to wait a bit for a table. Also, some might find the sides a little pricey for what they are. But hey, the star of the show is definitely the lẩu, and that's worth...

Trước tiên nói về đồ ăn thì ngon và giá cả thì tui k chắc là hợp lý hay k vì do tuỳ mỗi người chi đi đông hay ít, đồ ăn lên khá nhanh và tui k hài lòng chỗ phần ăn kèm như rau, mì bún, đậu hũ bth sẽ chung với lẩu, còn này tính riêng thì tui cũng thắc mắc. Còn về thái độ phục vụ thì tui thấy cũng khá nhiều người comment, tui vào ăn cũng 9h30 tối hơn tui biết cũng trễ nhưng tui thấy quán để 12h mới đóng, tới thì chắc là cô thu ngân rất tiếp đón chỉ chỗ để lên ăn nhiệt tình lắm, tui tới vẫn còn khách ăn cũng đông, lúc gọi món thì nhân viên đã thái độ từ đầu tui đã để ý,còn những nhân viên khác thì tui thấy bth, sau tụi tui đang vui thì nhân viên đó bảo tính tiền trước thì tui mới hỏi được ngồi xíu k, thì với thái đồ hờ ơ đó tụi tui đi về, tui biết làm nghành dịch vụ thì cũng k nên khó chịu đến mức như vậy. vì cô thu ngân nhiệt tình và đồ ăn cũng khá hợp vị nên tui cũng k đánh...
