The flavor is very, very delicious, but the service is very very bad. We were a group of 5 people, came at around 5 PM, at 5h40 we ordered a few extra dishes which never came, and that we kept asking the waiters for the same dishes over and over at a 10 minutes interval. Disappointing! Other than the service, the hot pot was great, it beats most of other beef hot pot restaurants I have ever been. The star of this hot pot is the soup, mildly flavored curry, not to salty, kinda sweet with a thin layer of cow fat on top which makes a strong beef flavor and makes the soup quite fatty, actually the flavor is quite complex, first it's fatty with a strong gust of beef flavor, then you can smell/taste a mildly curry sense which lingers for a while. Well, it's not "phở", if you want to taste a "phở" style soup, go buy "phở", this is "beef hot pot", don't be mistaken. Better service includes explaining menu, using clean hands, offering more choices of sauces, a smile at...
Read moreBeef hotpot is nothing to be compared to the original Lau bo Nha Go in Da Lat. They used many MSG and the "sweetness" when you sip in the soup is so fake. Potions are average, sliced beef and beef balls are good but they beef leg chops are still hard (for my liking). Downstairs is hot and small space, upstairs has aircon but the floor is not stable and I felt like an earthquake when someone at the next table moved. The area is dark and has...
