Laikee Mì Gia — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

The food I had at this place yesterday was so nice that I decided to come back again today. Upon arriving I was greeted by a nice young man who offered me a menu, and easily spotted that I was ready to order. The food took about 10-15 minutes to arrive 😀. The pork dish which I had, which was a pork, vegetable and noodle soup, was absolutely delicious, particularly the pork. The pork was so nice I would have to say it is some of the best I have ever tasted, the dish was called Mi suon Chien, and I would highly recommend it. Tiếng Việt: Hôm mình ghé hơi trễ nên có vẻ nhân viên không nhiệt tình mấy. Không gian quán cũng khá là thoáng và yên tĩnh.

Mình order phần mì sủi cảo thập cẩm và há cảo bào ngư, được dùng chung với củ cải muối từ quán. Phần mì cũng ổn. Cọng mì không dai, không thơm, nước dùng nấu tốt, thịt được hầm lâu nên bị nhừ, còn sủi cảo thì ngon.

Phần há cảo thì bên trên có một con bao ngư nhỏ, bên trong nhân có tôm, thịt và một miếng bào ngư nhỏ. Thật sự thì nước tương chấm không đặc sắc mấy. Món không để lại nhiều ấn tượng trừ nhân tôm có vị tươi.

Mình thật sự chỉ nhớ nhất là nước dùng của mì và phần củ cải muối tặng kèm thôi.

For me, the food’s taste here quite mild but soy sauce can beat it up. The staff is polite and helpful. We don’t have to wait so long for the food, it takes around 7-10 minutes to be ready or maybe I’ve came at off-peak hours.
