I live in Thao Dien and have walked past this place numerous times since it opened recently and was hyped to try it. Boy, was I severely disappointed.
3 things I enjoyed: The staff were attentive to the customers There was a constant flow of food on the conveyor belt A lively atmosphere, but avoid crowded times as I came at dinner time. So, it was crowded and noisy
2 areas of improvement: The food quality was severely disappointing. For the price of the food, I would be more satisfied buying sushi at a convenience store and the miso soup that's served as an appetiser was so watery, I could barely taste the miso paste. During the half hour that I sat at the counter, I counted at least 6 plates that had NO COVER! It makes me wonder what's the restaurant's standard regarding covering the plates, especially with the recent 'smearing saliva on cutlery' incidents in Japan.

Really really sad that they cut down 3 beautiful trees in front of their restaurant just so people passing by can be overwhelmed by their overly bright orange wall and see their restaurant. So much for caring about the environment. it's about the $$$$
They are close to BIS, which gets VERY busy for 25 minutes every morning and afternoon. the mean spirited security does not let you stand in your car within 20 meters of their front door even in the early morning when i do not think they are even open. AND all the other businesses in the neighborhood are very kind- their security actually helps open doors for kids and allows cars to stand or even park for a few minutes.
Food- sure it looks cool to see the food coming around on a running track, but it is very very mediocre. I am not sure about others, but I like a good discount on shoes or electronics, but cheap sushi is absolutely what you get.. and what...

This must be the first restaurant that serves free (delicious) miso soup once you’re seated. There’s a variety of sushi (and quite a different selection from the usual sushi conveyor belt) at this restaurant. The salmon dishes were decent as well, does not taste like some cheap salmon unlike other conveyor belt sushi chains.
Service is great and relatively fast too, some staff are able to speak English or Korean besides Vietnamese. Clean handling of food with masks and gloves.
What we appreciate most besides the good food is that the owner is thoughtful in providing all the relevant needs for your meal in front of you - paper napkins, cups, utensils, soy sauce, wasabi, ice water, etc.
Boss is proactive in serving his customers as well, checking on service, food supply, and...
