I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. In particular, do not host a wedding or event here. I am writing this review to warn potential customers and honestly, I just don’t want anyone else to be ripped off and disappointed by this business—especially during such a special event like your wedding! The management team cheats, is not transparent in any of their transactions and contracts, and I have found to be an incredibly dishonest business. Our family chose hosted a wedding here due to the beautiful venue. At the end, that was about all we were satisfied with. To have spent so much money for the event, I felt like they cut every possible corner to make a profit. We chose the banquet style menus with beverages paid upon consumption. At the end of the event, the restaurant did not provide evidence of consumed bottles of wine and in addition, I later found out that the pre-purchased beer for guests were never served. They essentially charged us out of the wazoo for wine and beer that was never consumed by guests. The food is mediocre at best and very expensive— I would not mind paying a lot for food if I felt like quality was there, this was not the case. We ordered roast chicken and they basically served us bony pieces. The management here seems to be consistently changing and now I understand why. I heard about this place from others and the rating is good, so gave it a try. Place is right on the river, so when it does not rain, you can sit by the water. Decor is very basic for the place which is not consistent with price you pay. Wine list ok, price on the high side, but ok. Food presented nicely, but quality is ok only. For the price, not up to par. I had a beef set menu and the beef was the most disappointing part: was supposed to be wagyu steak but it certainly was not. It was a piece of meat 1cm thick and very chewy and hard to cut. Cooked medium rare (waitress did not ask me how I want it done) it honestly ate like something I would find in a street food stall. Desert, while the presentation was nice, was a basic, mass produced tiramisu (I asked for substitution). Overall food tasted as pre-made and heated up. Service: I had to ask for a steak knife and other cutlery. Food was served by 3 different waiters creating no consistency of interaction. Found this place while searching for a place for my gf birthday dinner. Checked rating, review and had a high confidence about its premium service. Brought in the bday cake and asked the staff to help prepare like other dinning (when to bring out the cake , candle ready, turn on bday song). Everything when well until the waiter brought out the bday cake for us. There was no bday song, cake still in the box, can the waiter spilled out very rude words with very rude gestures. That completely ruined my night with my gf. That specific waiter is the reason for 1*. He has a face with full pitted acne scars, very easy to recognize.
