Cosy atmosphere but the food was just okay. I enjoyed the evening and I certainly don't mind higher price tiers but at that price level I expect fresher fish.
Let me start with the positive things: I loved the atmosphere. It's super cozy and ideal for a date night. The service staff was friendly, the food was served in a timely manner.
The salad was good, the sushi rolls were good as well. What's gotten my attention was the rice. It was big and you could feel every single grain in your mouth. It had a yellowish coloration from the seasoning. If you go for a fusion sushi experience, then I'd rate this place 5/5.
But I'm somewhat of a purist and rate Sushi bars based on the Nigiri and Sashimi and in this area, Naked Sushi couldn't win me over. The fish was honestly of disappointing quality. Not that it was bad per se, my expectations are just high. It was perfectly edible and didn't have a bad smell, don't get me wrong. The texture was just not as firm as I would have liked it to be. The scallops were fine but the salmon and Hamachi were weirdly soft, as if they were frozen and thawed–reminded me of having Sashimi in Europe.
The way hot sake was served was not user friendly, no flask with grip, just the hot bottle with a mini towel wrapped around.

Read moreBeautiful ambiance, great rolls, but disappointing sashimi Visited Naked Sushi for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The location is tucked into a quiet, dead-end street, which adds a hidden-gem vibe. The interior is sleek, modern, and well-designed. It was fairly busy by 6 PM, and the staff were attentive and fast. It’s also kid-friendly — they had both a booster and a highchair available.
What we ordered: • Kiku Sashimi (899k): Unfortunately, this was the low point. The sashimi tasted waterlogged and flavorless — like fish that had been thawed poorly or sat on ice too long. Texture was soggy and lacked the clean, buttery freshness you’d expect at this price. • Soft Shell Crab Roll & Salmon Unagi Roll: Both were delicious — well-balanced flavors and great texture. • Grilled Saba: Just okay, not memorable. • Beef Sukiyaki: Underwhelming. Lacked richness and felt flat in flavor. • Sushi Combo (with Toro Roll): The toro was unpleasantly fishy, not the melt-in-your-mouth experience it should be.
Overall, the sushi rolls were solid, but the sashimi and hot dishes were hit or miss. I’d come back for the rolls and the atmosphere — just not for the...
Read moreI have been eating at Naked for many years, maybe since 2023. I even brought my family, friends, colleagues here. But today’s experience was disappointing. The service is no longer worth the price and they lost a loyal customer.
When I got my carbonara noodles, there were no tongs or spoon, even though the dish was full of creamy sauce. I had to ask for a spoon, that was ok. But after I finished, there was cream sauce left on my plate, so I asked for clean plate and new dipping bowl. The staff told me to wait, loudly, even though the restaurant was not busy at that time. Then they brought 4 plates (for a table of 2) and said they run out of small dipping bowls. How can a sushi restaurant run out of small dipping bowl? That was a basic and indispensable item in a restaurant???
Second, the servers made me uncomfortable by discussing our question right in front of us, rude and unprofessional.
Third, after the payment, they didn’t say anything, just capture the bill silently and walked away.
I don’t think I will come back again after this experience. The service isn’t good anymore, not worth the...
