NOT VEGAN!!! It’s “Vietnamese” vegan which is a different thing apparently. We made sure to clarify if the food was actually vegan 3 times over they assured us it was. We ordered the buffet and the food was brought out we began eating and asked one more time to a different staff who informed us it was not in fact vegan. One dish had egg in the salad, mayonnaise on another dish which was not vegan. They kept telling us that Vietnam had a different definition of vegan where including eggs was okay but you can’t just change the concept of veganism based on country. Terribly disappointed we went there to experience Japanese vegan food, and dreadfully my vegan friend ate egg and mayonnaise unknowingly after 10 years of being vegan this left us devastated as you can imagine. So please be aware if you are vegan or have any allergies at all this is not the place for you. When the staff were confronted they kept apologizing whilst laughing which is a frustrating experience they seem to work in food but don’t seem to understand the basics of the importance of clarifying your menu and posing to be available to a part of society that already struggles with selection and trusting companies with a language barrier, when vegans or allergy suffers see vegan restaurant they expect that’s what the restaurant is, not what it is pretending to be.
Ultimately, regardless of the type of egg you use, it is nonetheless an egg and is no longer vegan. You guys are not a vegan restaurant. Take vegan restaurant out of your name as it is misleading, inappropriate and dangerous for people that need to be vegan for...

This was my second time trying vegan sushi in HCMC. This place offers a variety of vegan Japanese dishes with two types of dining: a la carte and buffet (350k/pax). The sashimi and sushi types are visually and tastefully delicious, however, not as many “sashimi” types as I have tried before. Highly recommend their soups and tea (in bottles). And mangoes! So fresh so good. They also offer a free tour of buddha statues and another tour of ancient buddha statues (450k/pax). These statues are beautiful and offered for sell (from 1xx million dong - 3B dong) Indoor air-conned seating is limited with 5 tables. It can be hard for older people to sit on the floor for a long time. Make sure you come early before 6 to sit inside. RSVP is recommended. Outdoor is nice too, you can watch đàn tranh performance from 7:30pm. I’ll be back to try...
