A literal and figurative breath of fresh air.
I'm sure this play's kills it at night, however, the two times I've been here, it was mid-afternoon and hot outside. While there's no A/C in here, there is a constant breeze blowing through and i never once mixed it. In exchange for A/C, you get, not only the breeze, but the sounds of the street and a great view of everybody walking past.
This will always, for me, a must visit place from now on in Ho Chi Minh City.

This joint is usually peaking with people from around 7pm-8pm almost every night and so even though it was close to my hotel, I did not go there until my last night. I tried 1 mango mojito & ended up having 3 in total LOL. (I paid $26.41). The staff spoke good English and were very accommodating. Read moreWe waited a long time for the food, which was mid, not much better than homecooked stuff. Not what I would expect from a restaurant. It looked good though. Sashimi also wasn't served cold on ice, more like room temperature.
Drinks came fairly fast, but Caipirinha and mojito didn't have sugar in them at the bottom. Banana leaves to garnish the drinks, which were inside the drinks mind you, were very dusty. Therefore we assume that a good amount of dust made it into the tropical juice.
Staff was okay, but we had to repeatedly ask for simple stuff that should come with the food in the first place: spoons and napkins.
