I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sông Seafood and Grill in Binh An Ward, District 2, HCM City, and it was truly unforgettable! Our family Thanksgiving dinner was elevated to new heights by the exceptional service, cozy ambiance, and most importantly, the mouth-watering seafood.
The standout dish was the Ghẹ Rang Me (stir-fried crab with tamarind sauce) - absolutely divine! Fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes.
The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured our every need was met. The manager even checked in to ensure our dining experience was satisfactory.
Sông Seafood and Grill exceeded our expectations, providing an unforgettable evening with loved ones. Highly recommended for seafood enthusiasts and those seeking a quality dining experience in HCM City.

Read moreWe had 50+ people dinner reservations on a week day. Our guests arrived very late, I feel very bad for all the servers that had to wait on all of us.
We had an 8 courses dinner.
There's not much of a house's specific specialty, except perhaps the "elephant trunk clam" (geoduck), which was served fresh. (I do not like sea food ) I was told they were fresh and good. All the rest of the food was ok, nothing stood out as really good. The "elephant trunk clam cháo" was burnt.
We had to ask the servers to bring serving utensils for every single dish they brought out. But then, perhaps, it wasn't in their culture to offer (or for guests to use) serving utensils?! It just gross to stick one's own chopsticks into a communal dish after one had already put those same chopsticks in one's mouth, ew!
The servers were very tentative to serve each table. They ensured dirty dishes were removed from the table and offered new dishes. Great job on that!
I had a great time talking to of and new friends, but didn't care much for the food. They were...
Read moreFor tourists: seafood is tasty I would say but they charge you European restaurants price, not local Vietnamese restaurants price
For local: I’m sure you know better places for seafood
We asked every single item’s price before we ordered, (since all seafood in market price they claimed) knowing that it’s all expensive in Vietnamese standard. We are happy for all dishes, fortunately we could be able to afford it, (just like eating out in Europe) but not very happy about this business stagey. Also not very happy about the staff’s attitude. After we offered 40,000 VND tips they had a laugh of teasing in a group.
3mil VND for dinner with two adults and one toddler. You judge if it’s worth or not. The little tips we don’t care so much, charity is our family’s practice from time to time for these less...
