Came from a very early flight, went to Starbucks to relax and have a coffee. I am a frequent visitor to this Starbucks because I live in Vietnam and travel through this airport very often. We had McDonald’s take away with us (from right next door) and they actually kicked us out and wouldn’t let us stay in Starbucks with our McDonald’s McMuffins and Starbucks coffees. I have done the same thing many times before as I was waiting for my next flight. We could have bought our coffees at McCafé as well but we chose to go to Starbucks, but I guess they don’t appreciate your business unless you only consume food from Starbucks (which still sucks for the price). In the end, we left our Starbucks coffees untouched and went back to McDonald’s and had coffee from McCafé. It was the first time we have had coffee from McCafé, and it was pretty good! Tasted better than the Starbucks coffees we had that morning, that’s for sure! So for the price of two sausage McMuffins, Starbucks at the Saigon airport lost two customers for life. Keep up the...
Read morePhục vụ quá tệ, thiệt là bất ngờ. Terrible service by one of the staffs named Haley… This is by far the worst service I have received at Starbucks.
We came in to wait for our friends at Starbucks. We ordered our drinks iced, one of us ordered the ruby grapefruit black tea. I spoke Vietnamese the whole time with this staff, she then said that the ruby grapefruit tea can come with a dessert if we added a certain amount of money.
The store was very crowded with background music, I couldn’t hear her properly for the first time, so I kindly asked her to repeat what she just said. Once I understood, I said “no, it’s fine thank you”. Then, she murmured in Vietnamese, “does she even understand what I’m saying…”. She then proceeded to ask for my name in English, I said “Ying” and spelled it for her. I did not pay attention to her facial expressions, but according to my friend that was beside me the whole time, he said that she was disgusted when she heard you answered “Ying”.
We ordered our drinks cold/ iced, one of them came hot, so I went back to say that I ordered it iced, and requested to change the hot americano to iced. That same employee was impatient again…
It’s simply disrespectful and very uncomfortable to receive this kind of service. I would have given no stars, if that was possible. I can understand how tired the service field is, especially when you’re working at a store where it’s constantly crowded, but her attitude and the service she provided were simply unacceptable.
Read moreTerrible customer services. First, the barista got the wrong order (ordered espresso and they placed the order as americano), when we reconfirm with them they said “americano and espresso is the same thing. Americano is just the water down espresso.” Second, we were in group of 6 people, 2 of us got their drinks and the rest didn’t. About 2 minutes after we sat down one of the staff approached us and asked “have you ordered anything yet?” We responded “no”, and the lady asked “why?!” Which we found to be very odd but we sat still. However, about 1 minute later another lady came and asked us to leave because if you’re in a group everyone have to order something. And if you don’t get anything from them you can’t be sitting...
