My friends and I had a flight yesterday (5 March 2023) departing at around 1930 from Saigon Airport, and we were very hungry before our flight so we decided to have a quick meal. We arrived at Burger King after the security check in departure hall at around 1830. When we tried to order at the cashier, we had some questions on the menu, because there are 'meal' and 'king box' options. My friend and I wanted one 'king box' meal which is with chicken nuggets, and one 'normal' meal which is with fries and drinks.
When we told your staff our order, the staff said 'Only the burger?' with an unfriendly tone. We felt confused, so we asked "The 'meal' option is only the burger?" The staff answered 'Only the burger.' And my friend and I just wanted to double confirm, so we asked again "There is no drinks or fries for the 'meal' option?" The staff gave us an impatient look, he rolled his eyes and said 'Only the Burger! The photos are shown on the menu.' with a rude attitude.
My friend and I were shocked, and we thought it was our problem that we didn not understand the menu, and so we ordered two 'kingbox' meals. However, when my other friends came back with their Burger King meals, we found out that the 'meal' options actually included fries and drinks. Moreover, we then realized he did not even ask us about the drinks we preferred and just gave us coke. We felt very disappointed and upset.
I think there must be some misunderstanding, because the staff who talked to me was wearing a different uniform with other staff, so he should be the manager or supervisor, and he should not have given us the wrong information. The most upsetting part is the attitude problem. He might have had a bad day or had a bad emotion at the moment, but it was unprofessional to bring them to the workplace, especially to customers. We had a wonderful trip in Saigon, but we did not expect this trip to end up with a bad experience at Burger King.
I hope he can have better control in his tone when talking to other customers next time. I believe Burger King as an international brand, provides professional training on customer service...

It's not the food or the brand it's the service we have received and observed. We stayed in Vietnam for 10 days we had very good experience throughout the whole trip, but this last stop when we were about to leave the country we have experienced the worst service we have ever received from any where we or my self visited. Hope the management will look in to it and please feel free to see the other reviews too. Nevertheless, I am happy I had lunch at this outlet. The service was excellent! Supervisor PHUONG MA was really hardworking, personally making sure food was served promptly through the lunch rush hour. She was friendly when approached by customers and it was nice to hear her cheerful "enjoy your meal!" during my stay.
Last but not least, kudos to BK Vietnam for using rewashable large cups to serve sodas for dining-in orders! I see the small but significant step in saving our environment. Could BK consider implementing...
