Highly highly Recommend!! šš„
I always check reviews before choosing a restaurant because my time (and meals) matter. I found Taste of Saigon thanks to its great ratings and convenient location near where we were staying.
At first, I noticed some confusion in the reviews with another restaurant that I would not visit as it's located in a hidden alley, but we decided to give it a try from the glowing reviews if people reaching about their food āand Iām so glad we did! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
The food was absolutely amazing. āāāāā My family of five enjoyed it so much that we went back the very next day. The first visit we had pho, which was delicious, and the second time we ordered both pho and banh mi.
Later, we made the mistake of trying banh mi from another place through Grab and were really disappointed as there were many exotic ingredientsāso we went back to Taste of Saigon, knowing theirs would be fantastic.
One order came a bit too spicy for us as they accidentally put on the crazy spicy peppers but when I called š, the manager handled it with the best šš» customer service Iāve ever experienced. He was kind, understanding, and even offered to remake and deliveršµ the sandwiches to our building. That level of care really stood out and showed how much they value their customers. š¤©
We return one last time and I'm adding to my post. This place is nice because of two more reasons! One is that they do offer a complimentary water and ice with a nice wedge of lemon in it! We went to a restaurant earlier today (Morica) and they asked us to put away our water bottles! Not only that but the wet wipe here is free unlike other places where they charge you for it.
Taste of Saigon serves high-quality food packed with incredible flavor. The pho broth is rich and comforting, the banh mi is fresh and layered with taste, and everything feels crafted with care. The restaurant atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is top-notch.
I canāt recommend this place enough! Itās absolutely worth your time and money. If youāre craving authentic Vietnamese food in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Taste of Saigonāyou wonāt be disappointed!
Side note: my son only eats pho here and he said it was the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm staying nearby and wanted some good local food. I'm not really an expert on authentic Vietnamese cuisine, but I do know food pretty well and I know what tastes good.
I ordered the beef bun bo hue since that's one of my favorites to order when I'm back home. It came with lots of sides and it was rich, slightly spicy and delicious. I did add some extra spicy stuff since I wanted to crank up the heat more. It was a good amount of food and I probably should have stopped there, but I was so impressed that I decided to put in a takeout order...the charbroiled pork banh mi. The roll was perfectly crusty yet soft inside, and the filling was really good. I could have used some more chilies in there to make it perfect, but I was happy regardless.
So I got excited and went back the next day. This time I ordered the special combo beef pho. It had the thin sliced beef, well done flank, and meatballs. I think there was some tendon in there too. This came with all of the sides that I expect with pho. I spiced it up a little extra with the chilies and chili sauce that they provided. The soup was so tasty and there was lots of meat in this dish.
I have also tried 2 more bahn mi. The chicken, and the egg. The chicken one was good, but I was looking for something more. Then the more that I ate it the more that I realized that I couldn't stop. Honestly, this one just tasted more healthy so I think that turned me off at first. It's actually a great option and I should be eating more chicken and less beef/pork anyway. Then I tried the egg banh mi. This would have been perfect for breakfast. It was simple but good. I wanted to taste more of the pate that's in this one but it was still good even though the pate was light.
Oh, I also tried the lime mojito which was good. I also tried the lychee tea with chia and it was yummy!
The staff was great. Overall, I like this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot a place to get authentic food, but is a decent fix for something vietnamese in the area. The menu has a wide selection of vietnamese food from banh mi, buon, rice, and pho. As well as desserts and smoothies. They provide a free delivery service for those living in the Landmark/Vinhomes region. Pho Bo & Pho bo vien was pretty good , but donāt order any complicated /specialty dishes like Bo Kho or Bun rieu. The meat was very chewy and the soup wasnāt savory at all. Bun thit nuong is lacking a lot of items and the meat wasnāt that flavorful.
Despite the food being just ok for the price, the restaurant itself was very clean and the...
