The food is pretty good though I find the price just a tad high for the portion. The tofu and the pork in lemon grass sauce were the highlight. For me the presentation of the frog was a little off putting and it did not help that the meat was pretty dry. The atmosphere is quite lively. I just wished the techno music in the background wasn’t that loud. Service was so so and there was a long delay between the service of each dish. Overall, it’s an interesting place to bring foreign guests as there were many dishes that one could find only in Vietnam.

Thóc restaurant is a great place to drink at district 1 HCMC. It is on De Tham str. There are many delicious dishes here that are suitable to drink some bottles of Draft beer as well as VN beer. Raw shrimp is recommended, it is fresh and has a great soup. Not so much place in Hcm having such fresh shrimps like Thoc. Staff is nice and polite. With about 200 000vnd, you will be full 😃 and chilled

Even one star is too much for this "restaurant". We were there and ordered two dishes. One arrived but the portion was very small, for the other we had to wait like 15 mins AFTER I ate mine. Is it ok for a restaurant to serve two people with like 20 minutes difference? I think definitely not. And about the other "meal"...well...ribs were ordered and we got somewhat disgusting meatballs...the boney ones you really do not want to eat....
