Tucked away in the middle of a rather rough-and-ready backpacker hub, this charming breakfast spot is a total surprise. Step inside, and it’s like walking into a little slice of Paris — cozy, inviting, and full of delicious French-style breakfast options. Think buttery croissants, creamy scrambled eggs, and rich coffee that actually hits the spot.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They’re warm, genuinely friendly, and impressively attentive — a perfect balance of polite and efficient. There’s a certain assertiveness to how they handle the service, which is actually quite refreshing. It’s clear they know what they’re doing, and they do it well.

Definitely worth the stop — whether you’re a weary traveler or just someone craving a proper breakfast in an unexpected corner...

This is a small cafe with good air conditioning. If you are looking to get simple breakfast in a nice quiet, cool facility, this is the place. The customer service is great, I’ve been here a few times and the lady always says “very nice to see you again!” It has a very homely feel to it.

I ordered the combo every time. Basically, you get a choice of eggs with bread, crepe, drink (coffee, tea, juice), and a dessert choice. I get the omelette, banana and chocolate crepe, pineapple juice, with fruits. The portions aren’t huge but there is a lot of flavour in the eggs. I feel as though the last time I went there, they gave me a larger portion though lol.

Like I said, super kid people, simple breakfast, nice ac. Can’t go wrong...

I had an absolutely wonderful breakfast experience at Chez Mimosa Cafe. The food quality was excellent, every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding customer service. The staff showed genuine care, attention to detail, and a warm, accommodating attitude that made me feel truly welcome.
