The Coffee House - Nguyễn Thái Bình — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I am not even going to bother addressing the beverage or the pastry that I ordered. My concern is safety and attitude. I walked into the first floor of this coffee shop that had three tables in a small corner and a counter with three chairs. The counter and two of the tables were fully occupied plus there were three people sitting on chairs by the ordering counter, waiting for their take-out orders. After requesting a beverage and a pastry I asked if there was seating upstairs. A male server directed me to the only empty table in the score mentioned corner. I immediately voiced my displeasure. After having sat down the waitress came over and said I could go upstairs. I told her I was already seated and I would stay where I was. In a time of COVID 19 pandemic, when masks and social distancing are supposed to be practiced, none of it was being enforced at this establishment. Not the people waiting. Of course the customers were consuming, so they couldn't be wearing their masks. As far as social distancing, there was no effort to keep any space between the customers. An absolute disgrace.
