I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem of a restaurant in Hue, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. As a vegan, finding delicious and flavorful options can sometimes be a challenge, but this place exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the friendly staff. They took the time to explain every dish on the menu in detail, making me feel truly welcomed and appreciated. To my delight, they even brought out a complimentary soup that perfectly complemented the array of vegan dishes we ordered.
The flavors and textures of the food were exceptional, with the mango salad standing out as a personal favorite. The owner, who is an absolute delight, went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable. Not only did she serve up delicious dishes, but she also took the time to teach me how to use chopsticks, adding an extra level of authenticity and charm to the evening.
The restaurant's atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a super cute decor that added to the overall dining experience. Tucked away on a charming street lined with local cafes and shops, this restaurant offers a peaceful retreat from the touristy hustle and bustle.
I savored every bite of the pineapple rice, spicy mushrooms with glass noodles, and other delectable dishes that graced our table. The bold flavors and satisfying textures left me wanting more, a true testament to the culinary mastery of the chef.
In conclusion, this restaurant is a hidden gem that any vegan (or food enthusiast) visiting Hue simply must experience. Tofu in tomatoes is a standard option most places but here it is elevated I detect some ginger maybe and lemongrass along with green onion. So good! Finally, I will likely dream about this banana flower salad for a long time to come and try to recreate it at home. The hits of mint, the sweetness of pineapple, what is this tasty dressing?? (I'm having bites of everything as I type this 😊). Ahhhhmazing!
Along with this feast, I'm drinking a refreshing fresh passion fruit juice, which adds to my happiness. On top of all this deliciousness, there is relaxing classical music in such a lovely dining room of pale turquoise and white. What...
