The hotel is very basic. They give actual keys to use to open the door. The rooms were okay but the sheets were dirty upon arrival had to ask staff for new sheets. There is complementary breakfast but the breakfast was not that great.||My reason for giving it two stars that that the staff was telling us to leave our room even though our checkout time was at noon. It was only 8am and they told us to leave so they can "prepare the room for the next guest" which made no sense when we still had the room till noon. I never had a hotel where the staff demands you to check our early. Very bad hospitality. They already made the room for the next guest in my sisters room and they were still using the room. So that means who ever gets to use the room next has sheets we were just hanging out on. That is disgusting that they would prepare the room for the next guest and we are still using the room. They should change the sheets after we check out. ||The wifi is pretty weak as well and you get disconnected pretty often. Staff were nice but not that great of a hotel. If you are looking for a nice hotel this isn't exactly the greatest. But if you are just looking for a place to sleep this will do. Not many places around to do stuff. Just a few...
Read moreStaying with party of 12- mix of Vietnamese and Canadian family. Me and my white brother in law were charged 200,000 each more for an identical room than our Vietnamese family, which was not made clear when booking. Hotel is dark, stinks of smoke (large ashtray stands in every corridor) and the rooms were not properly cleaned. Did not see any other guests...probably a good reason. Both our rooms had bed-bugs, so I asked for new rooms. Both new rooms also had bugs...all beds had various coloured stained sheets and one pillow had a large hairy dust ball under it. Night manager asked me to show her where the bugs were...I showed her the one crawling on my arm. She claimed it was an ant...she needs glasses...it was minuscule like a bed bug. Family exhausted and hungry, including 4 children under 7, so we settled for new sheets, which they are putting on as I type. I also expect a significant discount come the morning. DO NOT STAY HERE - it’s disgusting! I wish there was a...
Read moreWe had a wonderful 3-night stay at Heritage Village, Hue. The resort is very large, but the layout and individual villas give it the feel of a much smaller place - really like a village! The restaurant is awesome and the spa services are even better! Our booking of a private heated-pool access villa gave us free massages daily and they were so relaxing and wonderful! The villa itself is decorated in a traditional style, so you wake up in the morning and feel like you're truly in another world the minute you open your eyes. The village isn't right in the middle of town, so you do have to use the hotel-provided shuttle to get to and from the town center. But honestly, the relaxation and peaceful atmosphere of the village was enough for us. We took tours during the day but spent the evenings at the resort except for one night, when we did...
