Duy Tan Hotel — Hotel in Hue City

The people work here were incredibly rude during the check in and they did not care about us at all, they let Vietnamese people check in who arrived much later than us while we waited. It is so frustrating and this is how you can have a horrible mood on a good day on holiday. The lunch was cold and only a small water was provided, you had to pay to have a beer for example.

Wifi password is not mentioned anywhere but do not bother to ask because it’s unusable with this speed.

On the good side, the room was okay, nothing fancy, but that’s what you expect from a 3 star hotel, but it makes no difference if the staff makes an impression like the one mentioned above.

Hotel concierge were rude and unwelcoming. For a 3 star hotel we were not greeted by bus boys, instead they stood around us and watched us lug our own luggages. The one star rating would be for the generously sized rooms and great housekeeping team who kept our room tidy. We were placed on the 5th floor. Every night the karaoke place next door would have the music blasting which meant we were unable to sleep until late. Not to mention the floor above us kept moving tables and chairs around. Room is okay Air conditioning is working, everything is clean. Wifi stops working sometimes. Door lock works poor, someone is always checking if all electric devices in your room are turned off after you have left, bad if some is still in the bathroom.... light???, so we recommend store your belongings at the reception but .... Staff at the reception and restaurant were quite unfriendly sometimes even rude. Seems like Western/European guests are not liked, small portioned Food: dry, low quality. Asian Guests get a box of beer and personal service. If you are European, Don't go there, if you are Asian I would recomend...
