The Bún Bò here is fairly average in taste — not the most flavorful version I’ve had, but it’s still a decent option if you’re craving a warm, comforting bowl. The portion is generous enough for a filling meal, and the ingredients are fresh, just missing a bit of the depth or richness that makes a bowl truly memorable.
What stood out more was the friendly and supportive staff. They were warm-hearted and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant and easy. Even with limited English, they tried their best to accommodate requests and were always smiling.
One major plus: this is one of the few Bún Bò spots that stays open late, which is a real bonus if you’re looking for a late-night meal. It’s convenient for travelers or night owls who want something more than fast food after dark.
Overall, a decent choice for a late, local bite, especially if you value kind service and need something quick...
Read moreA systematic bunch of con artists. As other reviewers have also remarked (if only I read the reviews before I went!!!), as a tourist you’ll be paying 1.5x what the locals are paying. It’s not about the absolute amount, which is still affordable by European standards - it’s about principles; something the people who run this stall don’t seem to have.
The taste did not even stand out from all the other bun bo hues that we had in Vietnam. At the end of the meal, the woman who gave us the bill just grabbed the money from my husband’s hand before he could count it properly, and as a result we aren’t even sure how much we paid and whether she gave us the correct change. I’d rather go to an honest stall with mediocre noodles and no two-tier pricing and leave a big tip than to be duped in such a shameless way.
Oh, and did I mention the bout of food poisoning I had the next day?

Read moreI came here after reading all the positive reviews on Google as I consider myself to be a Bun Bo Hue aficionado. However, after trying it, I am UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED with the quality of the food. The soup's broth is nothing special and there isn't much meat to start with. In addition, they also try to charge you VND 40k if you're a tourist but you could negotiate it to VND 30k.
I can't believe people rate this place highly because the food has nothing much to shout about and they just focus on short term transactions. I have tried most of places that serve Bun Bo Hue in my hometown, Melbourne, Australia and I can tell you there's nothing worse than My Tam.
WORST FOOD EVER, DO NOT GO HERE if you wanted to taste an...
