Quán Bún Bò Huế Kim Đồng 2 — Restaurant in Hue City

We came late for lunch so no one was in the restaurant and it was dead. It was the only one around we found walking distance from our hotel.

The lady was very friendly and accommodating! We decided to order the Đặc Biệt ($60k each) because, well these two little piggies had been walking and was extra hangry! We were pleasantly surprised to find cow tongue in our đặc biệt bowls! Granted I wish there were more in there, but it was nice and tender! Hubby loved how tender everything was and the rare beef was also tender because it wasn't cooked to death like some places!

The broth was light and flavorful. I may revisit to share update of how much they put MSG in the broth in an hour or so....

We have been here 2.5 days and eaten 3 different Bun Bo Hue's and this one and the one we had yesterday was much better than the first place we went to!

We asked for extra veggies and less noodles and she was very accommodating! We really appreciated that!

Would definitely come back again next time we are in town and will bring...

Excellent experience here yesterday. Bun Bo Hue was delicious. I had the dac biet variety and my wife and mother in law had other varieties. All dishes were exceptional. Thank you so much for such a great experience. When the owner saw we had a baby, she gave us a separate little bowl with pre-cut noodles and sticky rice on the side. When I left for 10 minutes to take care of my baby, the lovely lady poured more hot soup for me...
