라냐 Là Nhà — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

Our first impression was the nice decoration of the restaurant, we were excited to try their food, but when the food arrived, everything was so disappointing 😞 I'm not quite sure the flavor base on tourist's taste, or because of the chefs didn't make it right. Vietnamese cuisine is the face of Việt Nam and you want to introduce it to the world, you need to make it properly. I understood why they had good reviews on Google map because people will get 5% discount if you leave them a review, and to be honest I was unhappy when the staff told me I will be charged 2% if I pay by card, it didn't happen during my stay in Nha Trang so far except this place. In general, we will not be back or recommend this restaurant for our friends...

This is a bright and clean restaurant with a chill vibe. The menu is not extensive and I always find that appealing and a better quality of food. I ordered the pork plate and it was delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect and was thrilled after it arrived. There was the lightly seasoned pork as well as a pork/shrimp roll (cut-up) that was light, flavourful and crunchy on the outside and soft and tender inside. The accompanying sauce was slightly sweet and there was fresh mint and basil that you add for a more enjoyable flavour and texture. I would come to this restaurant another 10 more times. We got a clear shrimp and zucchini soup, basil fried rice, shrimp and eggplant dish, and a fried rice cracker dish. The soup was wonderfully clean and simple. The basil fried rice was fragrant and wonderfully seasoned. The shrimp and eggplant dish was sweet, savory, rich, and fried really well. The fried rice cracker was a lovely little snack/appetizer. We also got an avocado smoothie that tasted like it wasn't sweetened at all (which we loved, it tasted much more natural and healthy) and a peanut butter banana smoothie that was just yummy.
