Im’ not a Bhan Mi expert hence I only ate it a few times , I like the idea of crusty bread with veggie fillings inside.
This place caught our attention after having coffee at “Optimist Cafe”
When you go out of the alley from Optimist you will noticed immediately queue of people outside a Banh Mi store, mostly Koreans ans Russian tourist.
We are so full so we didnt join the wagon,
The following day we tried their Banh Mi , people are already on the line, waiting for their orders , we ordered roast mushroom w/ mozarella cheese, I tend to avoid meat when travelling.Ordering is fast and easy, waiting is another story(15-20mins) , also because there are lots of grab driver waiting and most of these orders are multiple.
Price is affordable 30-505k dong depending on the fillings.
The taste was ok, but they could roast the mushroom more, the cheese is tasteless ,I was expecting a lil salty but it’s bland, bread is fresh and lil crunchy I like it.The sauce can be improved.
The hype is coming mostly from Korean people who travels in groups so when they buy something everyone have the same (food /snacks)hence Nha Thrang is densely visited by Koreans /Russians.
Taste can be improved with a little salt /pepper :) and cheese can be replaced with good one.
I invite you to try this place for your own experiences.By the way wait outside , instead of sitting inside , it’s fairly hot because space is limited and ventilation is not well.
Outside is breezy with trees...

There’s something undeniably intriguing about a place that always has a line of eager customers waiting outside. That’s exactly what drew me to Bánh mì Phan. Watching the bustling scene of people patiently waiting, I decided to join the queue—and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
The star of my visit? The “Tôm Phô Mai – Cheesy Baked Day Fresh Prawns.” This sandwich is nothing short of extraordinary. Imagine a perfectly crisp baguette, stuffed with succulent, freshly baked prawns that are smothered in a creamy, slightly tangy cheese sauce. The flavors come together seamlessly—rich, vibrant, and utterly satisfying. It’s a masterclass in how simplicity, when done right, can become unforgettable.
What sets this place apart is its commitment to quality. Every ingredient feels carefully selected, and the attention to detail in crafting each sandwich is evident in every bite. And here’s the kicker: it costs just €2.50. At that price, I couldn’t resist going back for a second one—and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
If you’re in Nha Trang, this is more than just a quick bite; it’s an experience. Bánh mì Phan combines authenticity with flavors that will linger in your memory long after you’ve left. Don’t hesitate—join the line. It’s worth every second. 5 stars...
Read moreI don't understand why this place isn't all 5-star reviews. We discovered it 4 days ago and have eaten here every day since - that's how good it is!
The menu is fantastic. We've tried the crab omelette, shrimp, and tofu banh mi. My husband swears by the tofu version, while I can't get enough of the shrimp. The garlic sauce on the shrimp tastes like perfect shrimp scampi served in a crispy bun - absolutely delicious.
What really impresses us is that whether we order delivery through Grab or dine in, the quality stays consistently great. That's not easy to achieve!
The staff are friendly and accommodating. Having the menu in English, Korean, and Russian, along with Vietnamese, is thoughtful, and the English-speaking hostess makes ordering easy.
Don't let the line scare you away - they're quick and efficient at taking orders. Just remember that every banh mi is made fresh to order, so a short wait is worth it for the...
