I like this hotel but i dont "love" it, here are the reasons why: Location : while it is close to the beach and totally walkable, but it is actually Abt 5 minutes walk about about 3 blocks away (I stayed at Maple last time and it was much closer). I thought it was close at first but under the heat, the traffic, the dust...that 5mins walk was really not pleasant at all. Rooms: the so-called "sea view" was blocked by all other buildings (see my pic), so u don't really see much of the "sea" at all. Good thing I got free upgrade for this, if I was to pay extra for this, I would not be happy at all. Totally not worth it.
They only give you 2 big towel, 2 hand towel, and 1 towel for floor. My family are 4 people, me my husband and my 2 young kids... obviously this was not enough towel. Yet when I asked for more towels, he said I needed to exchange the dirty towel to him, otherwise he will not give me more towels.... Seriously, I think 2 star or 3 star hotel in the US will give you more towel than this..., and they rated themselves as 5 star hotel, I don't understand...
Elevator in the morning can take forever (this applied for the hotel side, when we stay at the apartment side, their elevator move so much faster, never had to wait for more than 5 min)
In front of the hotel there are so many big buses all the time, make it really hard to move ard with taxi, sometimes it took 10mins for the taxi to arrive even though he was right across the other side of the red light. I found it easier to move around with motorbike or grabbike instead of taxi or driving a car (although we ended up getting car after living in Nha Trang for a year)
Lastly, I disliked the most about the Chi.nese visitors of this hotel. For some reason they got a lot of them, so rude and uncivilized . One of them pushed my kids on the side to get inside the elevator which was already super full. They even spit in front of the hotel.... I know this is really not something the hotel can do, but I still have to share it so you know what to expect here
Now come to what I like:
breakfast: it was lot of options to choose from. There are different soups every morning like phở, bún, etc...
-service: the front door and the help desk people was very nice and kind to my kids
room was spacious and the balcony is really a plus
there are place to rinse your feet if u come from the beach before get inside the hotel
I would still recommend this place but will give you a head up...
Read moreSubject: Urgent: Formal Complaint Regarding Unjustified Extra Charge Attempt
Dear Management Team of Virgo Hotel;
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with an incident that occurred during my recent stay — an incident that directly violated the terms of my confirmed booking and undermined the integrity I expect from any professional hospitality service.
I booked a room explicitly for 2 guests. I checked in first. Later, when my wife — the second guest listed in the booking — arrived, your front desk staff attempted to charge an additional 500,000 VND, despite there being no mention of any such fee in the booking terms or confirmation.
I refused to pay this unauthorized charge.
Let me be clear: this is not just about money. It’s about trust, transparency, and dignity. What happened was an unprofessional and borderline coercive act that attempted to exploit a guest through misinformation or intimidation.
As someone who values integrity in customer experience — and expects the same from any service provider — I demand: A formal written explanation from hotel management (not from front desk staff) within 24 hours. An official apology for the attempted surcharge and acknowledgment that this charge was unjustified. A clear internal action plan to ensure this will not happen again to me or to any other guest.
If no response is received within 24 hours, I will not hesitate to escalate this issue by filing formal complaints with consumer protection authorities and sharing my experience publicly through booking platforms and social media.
I expected excellence. What I received was a breach of trust.
I look forward to your immediate and professional...

Rooms: I gave average because we don't stay in a guest room, we live here in an apartment. ⭐⭐⭐ Service: Average. The staff is adequate but only does the bare minimum of their daily duties. Don't expect 5-star treatment here. ⭐⭐⭐ Location: above average because its centrally located within walking distance of EVERYTHING! 5 min walk to the beach! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now for the details** POOL: ⭐ OVERALL POOR. Beautiful infinity pool with amazing view! That's all you get! However....the pool is NASTY! No filter system to keep water clean! The staff adds tons of chlorine to kill the (urine) from swimmers! Very dirty and would not recommend opening your mouth or eyes if you swim! DISGUSTING!!! Also the pool is NOT exposed to sunlight so the water is generally cool. No place to layout for a suntan and swim! Poor design of the pool area and missing non-slip mats around one side of the pool and steps! VERY SLIPPERY AND DANGEROUS! 🚷🚫🚸⚠️
GYM: ⭐ POOR. Lots of equipment in a VERY SMALL ROOM! 3 ceiling fans that are not adequate for cross-ventilation,(especially when 3 or more people are trying to workout) Opens at 6am Closes at 10pm. Again poor design! TOO SMALL to accommodate the number of guests that want to workout! Equipment is older and needs replaced. Lots of usage!
Hope this review helps you. There are better hotels with better amenities,...
