Very bad experience here. First of all we arrive for lunch and we are told there is a 30 minute wait. No problem, we come back after 30 minutes and the restaurant is half empty with so many tables free and not reserved which was strange. We are then out in a room with FREEZING cold air conditioning pointing directly at us. We ask to turn it off and she waitress only slightly turns it down so we decide to eat elsewhere but we are offered a table away from the air conditioning so we stay. when we are ordering i make it very clear that i am allergic to spring onion and she repeats that to me so she is definitely aware. we are sat in a position where we can see where the staff is collecting the food from the kitchen and we see multiple staff members with a flashlight and chopsticks picking spring onion out of our food. when it is sent to the table i tell her i can still see spring onion in the meal and that i want a fresh one made without any spring onion in it as the food is contaminated. and again the pork comes down and i catch them picking out spring onion and breathing over our food. i tell her i don’t want to eat it anymore as it’s very unhygienic for staff to be breathing over my food and picking out spring onion which I’m allergic to. she then tells me the kitchen made a mistake TWICE which is just unacceptable and she tells me i will not be charged for dish WE DIDN’T ever eat which i think is pretty obvious we will not be charged for that as they never delivered the correct food . the least the could have done is offered us a discount for this experience but they hardly apologised for the whole experience. i recommend to eat elsewhere, especially if you...
Read moreI just had lunch at this restaurant and as I also told the staff that welcomes you, I wouldn't change anything from the typical Vietnamese food, to the service, to the environment and the atmosphere, it's perfect 👌 just the way it is. As I wrote in their questionnaire that they give you at the end of lunch: "I wouldn't change anything about your restaurant, everything is excellent. It seems like the book THE SECRET GARDEN, in your restaurant you enter another dimension of peace and tranquility and good food"
FOOD AND DRINKS: The food is typical Vietnamese, there are also some vegetarian dishes, I don't know about the drinks because I only had a beer. However, overall the dishes were good in quantity and good.
PRICE: For European standards it is not expensive at all with 3 dishes and a beer (500,000 dong = €18)
EXTERIOR AMBIENCE: When you arrive near the restaurant, the entrance is nice, but nothing so special compared to other restaurants. What makes the difference is when you enter!!
INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT: When you enter this restaurant, you enter another dimension of peace, tranquility and good food.
ATMOSPHERE: The relaxing atmosphere and with relaxing music 🎶 in the background, then the decor is perfect 👌 with plants, clean, toilets in and hygienically very well kept, and it's a nice idea the hands on the wall and then there is a very suggestive "fog" 😀. The only risk with this relaxing atmosphere you could fall asleep 😝.
SERVICE: The staff are all young, they wear a uniform that makes you think of a SPA, elegant, professional, kind and quick in service. Well done 👏
TO IMPROVE: They don't have to improve anything, it's already...
Read moreBeautiful small restaurant and decor. Although it's small, they don't try to squeeze more tables or anything. Each table still have a good space with privacy.
Service was impeccable , totally deserve 5 star.
Foodwide, from Western taste it s probably very good, hence the 4.9 star on Google. But for someone who is local, I think it has room for improvement. We ordered 3 dishes that are very common food for daily Vietnamese meal. Soup was awesome, they gave lot of veggies, which is a plus. Egg was good too but it's hard to screw it up since it's easy to make, the chicken was the one I didn't like (ga chien nuoc mam). Although my kids like it cuz they are both considered American, I thought it was lack of tastiness and the meat was dry.... But still, I like enough that I will come back though.
Price wide, it's very reasonable, comparable to Chuonchuon Kim or ba Ngoai (those place that are popular for traditional daily dishes)
Overall I would come back to try other dishes, considered the clean environment and the service I...
