Food and restaurant setting were good. So why 3 stars?
We went to celebrate our anniversary. However, we were not expecting a VERY chatty precocious young boy as our waiter who was at our table chatting away the entire night. He is very sweet but extremely chatty, so we were rarely left alone.
For Nha Trang, it is considered on the higher end and most of their wines are in the 2 million range and more--- but they take no credit cards! So a meal for two could easily cost 3 or 4 million but no credit cards!
And at that level of price, which is considered high for Vietnam and certainly Nha Trang, one would expect a much higher level of service ( not an extremely chatty kid) and credit cards.
And it is not as if there are no good wines at a lower price point which could still be marked up sufficiently to give the restaurant a high profit.
Having talked to many people in Nha Trang about our experience, apparently the two observations are fairly common.
On another review, the owner commented in response, essentially that they are "just" a family restaurant. That may be, but the prices do not match a "family" restaurant.
At a lower price point one befitting a "family" restaurant, one would have a much lower expectation as to service, that it is not "romantic", not worthy of a special occasion, and that the wines offered would be reasonable, compared to other " family " restaurants.
So go because the food is good ( excellent mashed potatoes, for example) but really, really lower your expectations drastically, and do bring at least 3 plus million Dong in CASH, if you want to drink only one bottle (and at least 5 million if you like a white and a red). Or bring your own wine and see what the corkage fee, if any, is. (For comparable food, and a truly romantic setting and non-chatty servers who leave you alone to talk and eat with your companion, the French restaurant on the North is a much better option as they offer a bigger selection of wine at many price points AND take...

Tip for folks looking to dine here: make sure you book ahead and double check with them before coming to make sure you have that table available for you.
We came to this restaurant on a busy night of Tet holiday. Apparently, whoever's taking the booking had messed up pretty bad. Lots of people arrived without their booked table available for them. We were a bit lucky that we came in earlier and get to share a big table with another couple, which is fine given it's a family restaurant and it's a busy night. Not very happy with where we sat though since water was all over the floor. Didn't bother to ask for a different table since they're fully booked.
Unfortunately, they some how messed up the orders, gave us the food ordered by a different table, I noticed and inform the waitress, she then brought it to the right table but the people there obviously refused to take that plate, she then came back to us and asked if we want that medium steak? Sorry love, I paid for a rare one, and one that's not jumping from 1 table to another. 🤷🏼♂️ This can be blame on the busy night but given this restaurant only has a handful of tables, messing up customers orders can be easily avoid with some simple organization.
Food is good but can be a bit better to match its price. Staffs are nice and polite.
