Canadian Tourist 🇨🇦 If you want an honest review, look no further! Follow me on YouTube @JD Nomad - They specialize in Vietnamese Round Cake - An Egg cake with different options for toppings like shrimp and beef. Very nutritious 💪 And very good prices for 6pcs cakes at 50K VND. You are given a basket of mixed greens like lettuce 🥬 and a dip/sauce. Inside has normal seating, on two levels - the second level accessible by a flight of stairs in the back. Great service. It would be nice if it had an Aircon room but for the price, I can't complain. I will be coming back here often when I'm in Nha Trang and near the area. Highly recommend you try out this place for a delicious meal and great deal.
🥢 I was instructed on how to eat this dish properly (see pic)...You put the greens into the bowl of dip and then cut the round egg cakes In half and push that on top of the lettuce into the dip and scoop it onto your mouth 👄 you'll get the hang of it. It was kind of her to show me how to do it instead of me looking a fool trying to figure it out myself. 🤦
About me ❤️ I'm a nutritionist and try to eat healthier - eggs are one of the most nutrient dense foods on earth 🌍!
Edit* I come here almost daily now and I've tried a few of their other dishes so I added more pictures...currently stuffed beyond belief...I think I ate too...
Read moreCame here after seeing the good reviews, ordered the mixed banh can to try all the 6 main variants. Didn't get the banh xeo as recommended as I was too full. Menus in Vietnanese + English/Chinese/Korean.
Appears to be run by 2 aunties and 1 uncle. The main lady serving customers was so cute!! She spoke little English but she knew important words like "Google review" HAHA.
Banh can is essentially egg+batter pancakes with toppings, served with a side of shredded green mango, vegetables, and sweet chili sauce on the side. Not sure if the chef has changed but I didn't think there was any taste to it? Just tasted bland and floury, some parts of the pancake seem undercooked. The only taste was that of the sweet chili that they served. Seafood (prawn, squid) was overcooked as well. Didn't eat the mussels so I can't comment.
Restaurant is in an alley that looked more local, though I saw many Korean tourists walk pass. Open air but is sheltered with a fan, recommended to come after dark so it...

Dish: Mixed bánh căn with squid, shrimp, and fermented fish sauce, around 60k per set of 6 bánh. I don't remember the exact price, but it's listed on the menu. Beef stew with bread, 30k.
I've tried bánh căn from Saigon to Dalat, all the way up to Nha Trang, and I can honestly say this place has the best and most flavorful bánh căn. After eating, we even asked the owner what time they open in the morning, but she said 11 AM, so we didn’t have enough time to stop by for another round, which was a bit disappointing.
The bánh căn here is served with pre-mixed fish sauce, which is a bit different from other places. Additionally, the owner suggested mixing it with fermented fish sauce for an even better taste, so we asked for some to try, and it was indeed very delicious.
The owners were very attentive, constantly checking if we were enjoying the food and offering us more if needed. When they saw my friend wrapping the bánh căn with herbs, the owner brought out some rice paper to make wrapping easier.
When the owner was preparing the dish, my friend asked if she could take a photo afterward. As soon as it was done, the owner called my friend over to...
