This charming little alley bar opened just a few days ago and is a great addition to Nha Trang’s modest craft beer scene. We tried a sampler of four beers—two of which I really liked, while the other two, though not my favorites, were still cheap and refreshing. Even better are their beer cocktails, with big glasses going for under 100k.
The biggest surprise, though, is the food. Their Thai-style raw jellyfish and prawn salad (125k) is as good as anything you’d get in Bangkok, and their tapas sampler plate featured some perfectly marinated boiled beef—so this is a bar where you could come just for a good meal as well.
I first wrote these lines in May 2019, just a few months before Vietnam was closed off due to the pandemic and Jelly had just opened. It quickly became a meeting spot for stranded backpackers and has since turned into a full-throttle backpacker/expat haven, packed almost every night.
Now, in 2025, the beer cocktails are still 90k, and I still enjoy them. The food menu has remained largely the same, too. If you can actually find a seat and don’t mind loud music, it’s still an easy recommendation, although I certainly wouldn't describe it as charming, little...

Music was a bit loud, but the view was fun to people watch while we drank. I enjoyed the home brewed IPA they had on tap, and was pleasantly satisfied with what Jelly Brewpub was working with in their brewing process. Service was swift. I'll most likely visit again the next go around when I'm back in Vietnam. I appreciate the underdog craft brewery atmosphere they represent compared to the other more extravagant brewpubs around in Nha Trang. 55.000vnd isn't bad at all for a glass of their home brew. Between my girlfriend and I with 3 drinks and two entrees ran anywhere between 300.000vnd - 400.000vnd....
Read moreI used to be a regular at this place and be super friendly to the staff. Unfortunately my friendliness was misunderstood, as I gave the staff a finger but they took the whole arm. Over the months the staff attitude has gone from bad to worse, crossing often the line, even when I showed up with newcomers. These events led me to visit the bar seldom until I stopped completely after being treated super rudely by the staff called Dung, who showed total lack of customer service; disrespect and arrogance. It's ridiculous that a service charge was recently implemented despite their service...
