YookMong BBQ Korean (육몽 바비큐 한식) — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

Feeling lazy and feeling like Korea BBQ after 2 days of seafood so we searched for the nearest KBBQ to our hotel. Happy to see two tables of Korean families here and we were not disappointed!

Meat portion is great, service was friendly and professional and my favourite part is always the servers cooking the meats for you. And while cooking, our servers were also attentive to our requests, responding quickly to topping up the sides and greens while keeping a good eye on the cook. A bonus for me was them clearing trash and tidying up the table every now and then; they were also quick to replace the chopsticks my boys dropped (twice) before I even asked for it! =)

Overall the meats were cooked well, for the sides, the anchovies were surprisingly tasty and the kimchi was really fresh — just sour enough with a good kick of spice. Talk about...

Went to YookMong for dinner as my party was craving KBBQ but this did not satisfy our cravings. We had to cook the meat on parchment paper on top of aluminum foil. Due to this, the flavor of the meat is not good and this does not represent a true KBBQ experience. Quality of the meats were just not the best but the meal was also expensive for what we got. Looks like a typical Korean-like restaurant, with prices generally higher than you plan to afford. But besides ordered food, the restaurant provides a lot of refillable banchan-style side dishes and starters, making a simple dinner somehow like a mukbang competition for even such skilled eater as me.
